Load Point Clouds using the [loadModel](docId:_xdqL7190Ezuig6Zbcais) method. Point Clouds are stored in an E57/LAS file.

### 1. Create a download token

Request a [download token](docId\:BirwISdRKyZtq_03WMW2G) for the asset stored in the documents section providing the format `application/vnd.bimsync.pointcloud`.

### 2. Use the token to load the model

Invoke the `loadModel` method with the asset URL and the model type.

```javascript
const options = { modelType: "point-cloud" };
const url = "https://api.catenda.com/v2/download?token={TOKEN}";

viewer3d.loadModel(url, options);
```
